About the Role

We are recruiting a Shipping Manager to be based at our Spring Hill office on a permanent, full-time basis.
n
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
n

Leadership & Team Managementn
n
Manage, mentor, and develop the Shipping Officer team, including performance management and training.
n
Establish priorities and workflows to ensure timely and accurate processing of shipping orders.
n
Act as an escalation point for complex shipping issues and customer matters.
n
n
Operational Oversightn
n
Oversee shipping arrangements, coordinating with shipping lines, transport companies, rendering plants, and customers.
n
Ensure accurate entry of shipping and vessel data in the database.
n
Supervise order processing and allocation to packing sites.
n
Monitor production levels to ensure timely processing of shipping orders, allocations, and instructions.
n
Monitor and drive continuous improvement of freight operations across all regions.
n
Manage relationships with key shipping lines, transport providers, and logistics partners.
n
Report shipping performance, costs, and issues to senior management.
n

About you
n




n
Previous experience in shipping, export documentation, or logistics leadership or supervisory roles is essential.
n
Proven experience leading or supervising teams, with strong people management skills.
n
Exceptional customer service and stakeholder management skills
n
Ability to perform well under pressure and make sound decisions in a quick-paced environment.
n
Ability to maintain high accuracy while managing competing priorities.
n
Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
n
Strong administrative, logistics, and data entry skills.
n
Ability to work independently and lead a team.
n
