Responsibilities

About the Role
n
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of haul trucks within a large-scale open cut mining environment. You will play a key role in supporting production targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance and teamwork.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Safely operate haul trucks in accordance with site procedures.
n
Transport ore and waste material to designated dump locations.
n
Conduct pre-start inspections and report equipment defects.
n
Utilise MineStar GPS technology to accurately haul material.
n
Maintain situational awareness and identify potential hazards.
n
Participate in toolbox meetings and safety initiatives.
n
Work collaboratively within a production mining team.
n




Ensure compliance with environmental and operational standards.
n

Qualifications
n
About You
n
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Demonstrate
n
n
Previous haul truck or heavy machinery operating experience (highly regarded).
n
Strong commitment to workplace safety.
n
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
n
Reliability, accountability and a positive attitude.
n
Ability to work a rotating ***** roster.
n
Current driver's licence.
n
Motivation to contribute to a productive and professional mining operation.
