Opal Fibre Packaging ANZ manufactures cardboard box packaging solutions aligned with the circular economy to meet the needs of its customers with a focus on sustainability and innovation. We have an exciting opportunity for an Afternoon Shift Supervisor to join the team at our manufacturing site in Revesby, NSW.
n
The key focus of the Shift Supervisor role will be to:
n
n
Lead and coordinate the production activities of the site to achieve the most effective outcome in support of the business objectives
n
Manage teams within a rapid-paced manufacturing environment
n
Oversee the production planning process to meet customer requirements and to optimise production efficiencies
n
Ensuring that SOPs are being followed through regular checks
n
Maintain a visible presence on the floor to ensure accessibility by employees, and provide a satisfactory level of supervision
n
Ensure an open, direct and with respect communication is practiced across the site
n
Drive a safety-first culture and achieve outperformance against all safety targets
n
n

Experience in overseeing operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
n
Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across all levels
n
A leader who has a strong sense of drive / urgency with an energetic personality
n
Well-developed leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach experienced team members
n
Experience leading/ supervising teams on a unionised site
n
Organisational skills - influencing, problem solving, strong project management and time management skills, decision making, goal setting, and cost management
n
Prior experience delivering successful teams and fostering a continuous improvement environment
