Job Description
We are seeking an energetic Nominated Supervisor for our 39-place, 3 room early childhood centre at Cundletown Pre School & Long Day Care Centre in the Taree area on the mid north coast NSW. The Centre Director plays a key role in fostering collaborative communications and delivering high-quality care. We value partnering with families, community connections, reflective practice with a strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing as a paramountcy principle.

Key responsibilities

Foster collaborative communications and deliver high-quality care
n
Ensure regulatory compliance
n
Lead and support room leaders and team members
n
Uphold child safe practices and the UN Conventions on the Rights of the Child
n
Implement the National Quality Standard (NQS) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
n
n
About you
n
n
ACECQA recognised Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education
n
Experience as a Centre Director, or strong experience as a 2IC/Assistant Director ready to step into leadership
n
Australian citizenship or residency or Commonwealth government verified work rights
n
Outstanding understanding of the National Quality Standard (NQS),



Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and child development
n
Regulatory compliance knowledge and administration skills
n
Proven leadership, communication, and team-building capabilities
n
Current NSW Working With Children Check, National Criminal History Check (within 6 months validity), Current HLTAID012 & CPR certificate, Child Protection CHCPRT025, and Geccko Child Safe Certificates
n
A supportive family management team with an Approved Provider who is a qualified early childhood educator
n
Experienced room leaders providing ongoing support
