Job Description
You will manage the day-to-day financial administration of our business, ensuring our accounts are accurate, organised and up to date. This is a hands-on position for someone who is confident using Xero, has excellent attention to detail and can work closely with our accountants.

Key responsibilities

Process and reconcile receipts, expenses and bank transactions
n
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
n
Prepare invoices and actively follow up outstanding payments
n
Conduct customer credit checks using CreditorWatch
n
Monitor and maintain customer credit accounts and limits
n
Manage debtor follow-ups and collection of overdue accounts
n
Process payroll accurately and on time
n
Maintain employee payroll and leave records
n
Review, process and reconcile employee expense claims
n
Process superannuation payments
n
Assist with Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) records and reporting
n
n
About you
n
n
Proven experience in a bookkeeping or accounts role
n
Strong working knowledge of Xero
n
Experience with payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable
n
Experience using CreditorWatch or a similar credit-checking platform
n
Confidence following up customers and collecting overdue payments
n
Knowledge of Fringe Benefits Tax and Living Away From Home Allowance requirements
n
Experience preparing financial information for BAS lodgements
n
A good understanding of Australian bookkeeping and payroll requirements
n
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
n
