Join the team across Maestro Hospitality's Italian dining precinct at Crown Sydney, home to a'Mare, Pizza'Mare and Vista'Mare.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and polished Casual Restaurant Hosts and Food & Beverage Runners to join our Front of House teams.
n
Whether welcoming guests at the door or supporting the floor during a busy service, these roles are an important part of delivering the warm, professional and memorable hospitality our venues are known for.
n
About the Venues
n
a'Mare – Our Two-Hatted flagship Italian restaurant, delivering refined Italian dining, exceptional produce and sophisticated tableside service.
n
Pizza'Mare – A vibrant and energetic Italian dining experience focused on pizza, pasta and relaxed hospitality.
n
Vista'Mare – Our stylish bar and dining space, bringing together drinks, snacks and contemporary Italian hospitality within the Crown Sydney precinct.
n
As a Restaurant Host, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Warmly welcoming and farewelling guests.
n
Managing reservations, table allocations and guest arrivals.
n
Coordinating closely with the restaurant management and floor teams.
n
Answering guest enquiries professionally and confidently.
n
Maintaining an organised and polished reception area.
n
Supporting the smooth flow of service during busy periods.
n
Providing genuine, personalised hospitality from the moment guests arrive.
n
n
Previous experience using SevenRooms or another reservation management system will be highly regarded.
n
Our Food & Beverage Runners play an essential role in supporting our waitstaff and ensuring efficient service.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n




Delivering food and beverages accurately and efficiently to tables.
n
Confidently carrying multiple plates and trays during service.
n
Having a clear understanding of table numbers and restaurant sections.
n
Communicating effectively with chefs, waitstaff and managers.
n
Assisting with clearing, resetting and maintaining tables.
n
Keeping service areas clean, organised and well stocked.
n
Learning menu items and being able to confidently identify dishes.
n
Supporting the wider Front of House team wherever required.
n

About You
n

Have strong communication and teamwork skills.

Are reliable and available across evenings and weekends.

Take pride in presentation and attention to detail.

Are keen to learn and develop within hospitality.
n
Hold a current NSW RSA where required for the position.
n
Have valid Australian working rights.
n
Must be able to pass a police compliance check
n
n
Previous restaurant experience is highly regarded; however, candidates with the right attitude, energy and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
