St John's Lutheran Outside School Hours Care is seeking an enthusiastic Casual Educator to join our welcoming and supportive team.
n
Our OSHC is buzzing with energy, laughter and a strong connection to the community. Located next door to the vibrant St John's Lutheran Kindergarten and School community, we provide children with a safe, nurturing and fun-filled place to grow before school, after school and during holidays.

About the Role
n
As an Educator, you will:
n
Supervising and engaging children in a variety of indoor and outdoor experiences that promote learning, wellbeing and enjoyment
n
Creating a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment where children feel supported and valued
n
Assisting with the delivery of engaging programs aligned with the My Time, Our Place Framework and the National Quality Framework
n
Building positive relationships with children, families, staff and the school community
n
Working collaboratively as part of a supportive and professional team
n
Undertaking Responsible Person duties when required
n
Supporting the day-to-day operations of the service, including maintaining a clean, organised and safe environment
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n




A Diploma in Children's Services or another ACECQA-approved qualification
n
Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework and National Quality Standards
n
A current Paid Blue Card
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications
n
Previous experience in OSHC, childcare or a similar education and care setting
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
A positive, skilled and proactive approach to your work
n
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, wellbeing and development
n
A willingness to work within the Christian ethos of the service
n
Current Child Protection Training in accordance with Section 162A of the Education and Care Services National Law
n
