The opportunity
n We are searching for an experienced bookkeeper (3 years minimum) who can confidently take ownership of client accounts from day-to-day processing through to high-quality management reporting.
n
You'll work as part of our broader accounting and advisory team, helping us give business owners accurate, timely financial information.
n
This isn't a role where you'll simply process transactions and move on.

The role:
n
Manage bookkeeping for a portfolio of business clients
n
Complete bank, credit card, loan,GSTand other balance sheet reconciliations
n
Working from our Blaxland office, whereyou'llenjoy being part of a connected and team-focused workplace
n
Payroll and
superannuationprocessing
n
This is aManage accounts payable/receivable
n
Ensure Balance Sheet accounts areaccurateand properly supported
n
Review transactions and investigate anything thatdoesn't look right
n
Prepare and review BAS and other bookkeeping compliance requirements
n




Maintainaccurateand
up-to-date Xero files
n
Produceclean,accurateand
beautifully presented Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports
n
Prepare management reports that help clients understand how their businesses are performing
n
Identifytrends, unusual movements, cashflow issues and potential problems
n
Work closely with our accountants and advisors to ensure everyone is working from reliable numbers
n
Communicate with clients to resolve queries and obtain information
n
Take responsibility for deadlines and proactively manage your workload
n
Who we're looking for?
n Great bookkeepers don't just reconcile what Xero puts in front of them. They notice when something doesn't make sense, they investigate
n
They understand what those numbers are saying about the business.
n

n
At least3years' bookkeeping experience
n
Robust and confidentXero experience – this is essential
n
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
n
Self
motivated,organised
&excellent; attention to detail
n
Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or equivalent
n
BAS Agent registration is highly regarded, but not essential
n
Strong knowledge of GST, BAS,payrolland bookkeeping fundamentals
n
The ability to reconcile all Balance Sheet accounts,



not just the bank
n
Experience preparing meaningful management reports
n
Confidence interpreting a Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
n
Strong problem-solving skills
n
The confidence to question something when itdoesn'tlook right
