Job Description
Reporting to the Civil Project Manager, you'll play a key role across a variety of civil projects.
n
You'll work both independently and collaboratively, helping drive site productivity while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
n
Projects range from build pads and carparks to subdivisions and more-so no two days are the same.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Operating machinery including graders-final trim, excavators, loaders, rollers, posi tracks, and trucks
n
Leading site activities in the absence of the Civil Project Manager
n
Conducting daily pre-starts and reporting maintenance requirements
n
Implementing and maintaining quality control standards
n
Ensuring plant and vehicles are maintained to a high standard (including weekly cleaning)
n
Upholding all health, safety, and environmental requirements
n
Completing accurate daily reporting and documentation
n




Identifying site challenges and delivering practical solutions
n

Proven experience in civil construction operations
n
Final Trim and GPS experience -(essential)
n
Robust capability operating a range of civil machinery
n
White Card(essential)
n
Driver's licence and reliable
transport(essential)
n
Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
n
Solid understanding of civil construction methods and materials
n
Experience in subdivisions and commercial earthworks (highly regarded)
n
Strong leadership and communication skills
n
Detail-focused with sound problem-solving ability
n
Reliable, organised, and able to work under pressure
n
Comfortable with basic digital reporting tools
