Goulburn Powder coating is looking for an experienced Leading Hand Powder Coater to join our growing team.
n
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for coordinating the daily workflow, leading the team, and ensuring production targets are met—all while working alongside your team on the floor.
n

About the Role
n
As our Leading Hand, you will:
n
n
Lead, mentor and motivate the powder coating team.
n
Assist in planning and schedule daily production to meet customer deadlines.
n
Work hands-on with the team across all aspects of the powder coating process.
n
Ensure products meet our quality standards before dispatch.
n
Coordinate workflow with other departments to maximise productivity.
n
Promote and maintain a safe, clean and organised workplace.
n
Train and support new and existing team members.
n




Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and production processes.
n
Communicate daily production progress and priorities with management.
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
Extensive powder coating experience (essential).
n
Previous experience as a Leading Hand, Supervisor or Team Leader in a manufacturing environment.
n
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
n
Experience scheduling work and managing production priorities.
n
A proactive attitude and willingness to work alongside the team.
n
High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
n
Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
n
Current forklift licence (Or willing to obtain).
n
A solid commitment to workplace health and safety.
n
