About the Role
n
The successful applicant will be an engaging and knowledgeable Science educator with the ability to teach Senior Sciences (Years 11 and 12). The capacity to teach an additional teaching area/s will be highly regarded.
n
You will deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs, foster student engagement and achievement, and actively contribute to the Christian life of the College.

Key Responsibilities
n

Deliver engaging and effective Science programs across Secondary year levels, including Senior Sciences.
n
Prepare students for success in external assessment and post-school pathways.
n
Integrate a biblical worldview into teaching and learning.
n
Differentiate teaching to meet diverse student needs.
n
Foster positive student wellbeing, behaviour and engagement.
n
Assess, monitor and report on student achievement and progress.
n
Build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
n
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider life of the College.
n
Uphold child safety, professional standards and College policies.
n

About You
n
You will be:
n
n
A committed Christian who supports the mission, vision and values of Annandale Christian College (pastoral reference required).
Passionate about Christian education and student growth.
n
An enthusiastic and reflective classroom practitioner.
n
Experienced or capable in teaching Senior Sciences (ideally Chemistry and/or Physics).
n
A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
n
Committed to professional growth and continuous improvement.
n
Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration (or eligibility to obtain).
n
Demonstrated ability to teach Senior Sciences.
n
Current QLD Working with Children Blue Card (Paid or Exemption), or ability to obtain prior to commencement.
n
Ability to actively support the College's Christian ethos and fully align with the College's Statement of Christian Beliefs.
