We are seeking a reliable, physically fit, and safety-focused Plate Repair to join our team.
This role is based within a busy production environment and involves repairing and preparing steel plates for re-entry into the copper growth process.
Key Responsibilities Repair, clean, and prepare steel plates for reuse in the production process Work collaboratively with a team member at roller tables to process plates efficiently Use power tools and hand-operated lifting equipment safely and effectively Perform quality inspections to ensure plates meet required standards Repetitively lift, move, and handle steel plates throughout the shift Maintain a safe and clean work environment Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and site requirements Report equipment faults, hazards, or quality concerns to supervisors Assist with general labouring duties as required About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A current Forklift Licence Previous experience in a heavy labouring or physically demanding role Excellent physical fitness and upper body strength The ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks throughout a shift A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards The ability to work effectively in a team environment A reliable work ethic and positive attitude Requirements Must be able to work in hot and humid conditions Must be capable of repetitive heavy lifting and manual handling No pre-existing upper body injuries that may impact safe performance of duties Must be willing to be clean shaven to comply with site safety requirements Ability to follow instructions and work safely within a production environment Forklift Licence required Suitable for individuals with demonstrated heavy labour experience If you are a dependable, hardworking individual who enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a physically demanding environment, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity and become part of a safety-focused team.
