Job Title: Accounting Specialist Client Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Work Arrangement: Fully Remote — Philippines Job Type: Full-time Industry: Business Services Salary: AUD $2,000 – $2,300 per month About the Client Our client is a growing business headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, providing skilled services to businesses and organizations across Australia.

As the organization expands, they are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist based in the Philippines to support the company's financial operations remotely.
Role Overview This is a fully remote, full-time role for an Accounting Specialist who will support the client's day-to-day accounting operations from the Philippines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, preparing financial reports, supporting accounts payable and receivable activities, and assisting with month-end accounting processes.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities - Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records - Record, review, and reconcile financial transactions - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities - Prepare and process invoices, bills,



and payment documentation - Perform bank and credit card reconciliations - Monitor outstanding accounts and follow up on discrepancies - Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes - Prepare financial reports and accounting summaries - Review financial records for accuracy and completeness - Maintain organized digital accounting files and documentation - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis when required - Support payroll and other accounting-related processes - Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders regarding financial matters - Assist with audits and preparation of supporting financial documentation - Ensure accounting activities are completed accurately and within required deadlines Candidate Requirements - Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar finance-related role - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes - Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, or similar platforms - Experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting - Strong written and verbal English communication skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and spreadsheet applications - Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize multiple tasks - Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information - Previous experience supporting Australian businesses or international clients is an advantage Apply Now If you're a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Specialist looking to grow your remote career while supporting a growing Australian business, apply now by clicking the button below.
