Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Merchandise Planner to join our team at Global Retail Brands! We currently have two positions available in Support Office - salt&pepper; and Concessions.

This role plays a critical part in driving merchandise strategy through accurate forecasting, in-depth analysis, and solid inventory planning to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time.

You'll work closely with Buyers and Planning teams to deliver commercial outcomes across sales, profit, and stock, while supporting seasonal strategy, in-season trading, and end-to-end planning processes.

What you'll be doing
n

Support seasonal range reviews through detailed performance analysis and SWOT insights
n
Develop weekly sales, profit, and stock plans within the Strategic Sales Plan (SSP)
n
Build purchase and stock flow plans aligned to buying strategies and lifecycle needs
n
Analyse category performance to support store grading and ranging decisions
n
Manage in-season trading, ensuring sales and gross profit outcomes are optimised
n
Monitor inventory positions across DC and stores to maximise availability and efficiency

Support markdown and stock optimisation decisions to minimise margin erosion
n
Provide analytical insight to support Buyers in decision-making and range strategy
n

What we're looking for
n
n
Experience in Merchandise Planning or Demand Planning within retail
n
Strong background in forecasting, budgeting, and in-season trading
n
Advanced Excel skills with strong numerical and analytical capability
n
Experience working with merchandise systems (Pronto highly regarded)
n
Strong understanding of retail stock flow, lifecycle planning, and category management
n
Cookware or hard goods experience highly desirable
n
Confident communicator who can influence buyers and stakeholders
n
Work within a key cookware category with strong commercial impact
n
Parental leave contract with meaningful end-to-end planning ownership
n
Exposure to strategic planning, in-season trading, and range development
n
