Fetch Recruitment are currently looking to speak with Intermediate and Senior HSEQ Advisors for upcoming contract positions within the Tier 1/2 commercial construction space, working across major data centre projects throughout Central and Western Melbourne.
These are excellent opportunities for experienced construction HSEQ professionals looking to secure project-based contract work on complex, high-value data centre developments.
The Role Site-based HSEQ Advisor supporting major data centre projects across Melbourne.
Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and the broader HSEQ team to drive strong safety outcomes.
Ensure compliance with Victorian H S legislation, project requirements and company HSEQ systems.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments, identifying hazards and driving corrective actions.
Review and approve subcontractor SWMS and other safety documentation.
Lead incident investigations and support corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor subcontractor compliance, site standards and overall safety performance.
Provide practical HSEQ advice to project teams and subcontractors.
Assist with inductions, toolbox meetings and ongoing safety communication.
Maintain accurate HSEQ reporting, documentation and project records.
Support quality control, rectification and broader project compliance requirements.
Work within a fast-paced, highly controlled data centre construction setting.
Must Have 3+ years' experience in a similar HSEQ / HSE / WHS role.
Minimum Certificate IV in WHS/OHS.
Experience working on complex, high-value construction projects.
Strong knowledge of Australian/Victorian WHS legislation and construction safety requirements.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with site teams, subcontractors and project management.
Data centre, high-rise, infrastructure or other complex construction experience will be highly regarded.
