We are seeking reliable Direct Care Workers to join our dedicated multidisciplinary team.
This position is located 3 hours outside of Adelaide and will offer tempoary accomodation assistance to those who need to relocate.
Key Responsibilities Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, showering, personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility.
Daily Support: Provide support with continence management, transfers, mechanical aids, and clean attire.
Living Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
Medication Routine Care: Assist with the self-administration of medication (under medical authority) and routine care procedures.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively alongside healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Requirements Eligibility Work Rights: Must have existing, valid Australian work rights ( No visa sponsorship available ).
Qualifications: Must hold relevant onshore Australian qualifications or equivalent recognized experience.
Clearances: Satisfactory National Police Certificate (NPC) for unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups, plus relevant DHS clearances (WWCC and Disability Services Screening where applicable).
Licence Travel: Current Australian driver's licence and willingness to drive.
Health Requirements: Compliance with mandatory immunisation risk category requirements.
Health Skills: Solid communication skills, basic computer literacy (MS Office), and the ability to work well within a team under supervision.
Desirable Criteria Current First Aid Certificate.
Prior experience supporting aged, frail individuals in a community or residential setting.
