About the Role

Ausnorth Building & Construction are respected construction professionals delivering a range of exceptional services to Clients in the insurance & disablity sectors across multiple states. Following consistent growth an excellent prospect has arisen for an experienced Estimator / Supervisor to join us in the leadership role of Area Manager.
n
As the Area Manager you'll be a big part of the wider Melbourne repair team. You'll be responsible for inspecting, estimating and coordinating renovations on small - large residential & small commercial properties. These will be a mix of Insurance Reinstatement Repair works & Disability Home Modifications..
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
Conduct onsite assessments of insured properties to determine damage
n
Identify the difference between insurance related damage and maintenance
n
Create detailed and accurate assessment reports, scopes of works and quotes
n
Work closely with your dedicated project administrator
n




Ensure all work completed conforms to legislative and contractual requirements
n
n
About you (the following skills and experience are desirable):
n
n
Experience in insurance / remedial / renovations / fit-out construction across domestic construction sector.
n
Experience in bathroom re-design / fit-out construction.
n
Experience in building scopes of work on domestic properties.
n
Experience working directly with a diverse range of clients such as building consultants, insurance loss adjusters or allied health professionals.
n
Experience in engaging and encouraging construction related trades and suppliers.
n
Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
n
Understanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standards.
n
