A temporary opportunity exists for a Head of Department - Student Engagement and Wellbeing at Deception Bay State High School until 11 December ****.

As part of the Positive Education leadership team, you will lead student engagement initiatives, Positive Behaviour for Learning, Restorative Practices and social-emotional learning. You will also lead support and intervention processes for Tier 2 and 3 students and oversee the Reset for Learning Room.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated leader who can connect with students, build positive relationships with staff and contribute to a strong, inclusive school culture.

This is a temporary full-time position to commence from 6 October **** until 11 December ****, unless otherwise determined.

You will work collaboratively with staff to build positive classroom climates, support targeted intervention and strengthen practices that help students engage successfully in learning.
