About the Role
n
As Automotive Technician, you'll play a key role in preparing quality used vehicles for sale, ensuring they meet Big Box Cars' standards for safety, presentation and reliability.
n
You'll work across servicing, repairs, diagnostics and reconditioning tasks, contributing directly to production targets and customer satisfaction.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n

Completing mechanical servicing, repairs and diagnostic work
n
Conducting inspections and reconditioning tasks to meet quality standards
n
Identifying and rectifying mechanical issues efficiently
n
Preparing vehicles quickly and accurately for sale
n
Working closely with the Reconditioning Lead to meet daily production targets
n
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
n
Following WH&S; and secure work practices at all times
n
n
About You
n
You'll be well‐suited to this role if you're reliable, quality‐focused, and enjoy working in a high‐volume, process‐driven workshop.
n
You will have:
n
n
Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
n
Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills
n
Experience working across multiple vehicle makes and models
n
A current manual driver's licence
n
A complete and up‐to‐date tool kit
n
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
n
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‐paced environment
n
Strong time‐management and communication skills
n
A positive, team‐focused attitude
n
