APS6 hourly rate contract, 12-months + possible extension Located in Canberra, ACT Ability to obtain Baseline Clearance About the Department The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) supports the wellbeing of Australia's veterans, their families, and dependants.
The department delivers compensation, health care, rehabilitation, and income support services, while also honouring veterans' service through commemorations and policy advice to government.

About the Role The person in this role will support the National Office team with financial management, program administration, and procurement and contract management relating to the work of the Office of Australian War Graves (OAWG).
High level communication and administrational skills and the ability to synthesis information related OAWG responsibilities Candidate will have demonstrated experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite, Particularly Excel and Word.
Qualifications and or experience in financial management, Procurement and contract administration.
Candidates should have a sound understanding of the Commonwealth Procurements Rules and Public Governance, Performance and accountability Act ****.
Candidates should have the ability to acquire knowledge of OAWG Systems and processes.
The position occupants will work both independently, and as part of the larger OAWG team.
