Location: Brisbane, Queensland
n Salary: AUD $120,*******,000 base
n Bonus: Up to 20% of base salary
n Vehicle Allowance: Approximately AUD $12,******,000

Overview
n
Our client is seeking a Regional Manager to drive sales growth and expand market share across Australia.
n
This is a hands-on technical sales role suited to someone who understands high-voltage electrical equipment, electrical testing, or related plant-service environments and can build credible relationships with technical and commercial customers.
n
The successful candidate will manage a mature territory with established key accounts across the mining, power utility, and industrial sectors. Growth will come from expanding existing relationships, identifying new opportunities, and winning business from incumbent competitors.
n
The role covers a broad portfolio of electrical test, measurement, monitoring, and diagnostic solutions and carries an annual sales target of approximately AUD $4 million.

What You Will Be Doing
n
n
Develop and execute territory sales plans to grow revenue and increase market share.
n
Manage and expand relationships with existing key customers.
n
Identify and develop new business opportunities across mining, power utilities, and industrial markets.
n
Win business from competitors through effective technical and commercial positioning.
n
Identify cross-selling and account-expansion opportunities across a broad product portfolio.
n
Conduct regular customer meetings, account reviews, site visits, and follow-up activities.
n
Build sufficient product and application knowledge to communicate effectively with technical customers.
n
Work closely with internal technical, service, operations, and commercial teams to support customer requirements.
n
Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, forecasts, and account activity.
n
Monitor competitor activity, market developments, and changing customer requirements.
n
Provide regular sales and territory-performance reporting.
n
Travel throughout the territory as required, typically at least one week per month.
n

What You Must Have
n
n
Experience with high-voltage electrical plant service, electrical testing, or closely related technical applications.
n
Previous technical sales, business development, or commercial experience within an engineering-driven environment.
n
Experience selling into mining, power utilities, industrial customers, or comparable technical markets.
n
Demonstrated success achieving sales or revenue targets.
n
Experience growing established customer accounts and developing new business opportunities.
n
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and commercial stakeholders.
n
Comfortable operating independently across a large geographic territory.
n
Experience using CRM systems, sales forecasting, and pipeline management tools.
n
Willingness to travel regularly throughout Australia.
n

Preferred Experience
n
Experience in one or more of the following areas would be beneficial:

Electrical test and measurement equipment

High-voltage testing and maintenance

Substation equipment

Transformers

Cable testing

Protection systems

Condition assessment and diagnostics

Industrial electrical equipment

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
