About the Role As a Maintenance Fitter, you'll play a key role in keeping the plant operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
This is a hands-on position combining day-to-day maintenance with longer-term improvement initiatives.
You'll work closely with operations to troubleshoot issues, minimise downtime, and drive continuous improvement across the site.
The role suits someone who enjoys being on the tools but also takes pride in improving systems and equipment performance over time.
We're not looking for someone who just fixes breakdowns—we want a critical thinker who can step back, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.
Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults using structured fault-finding techniques Contribute to condition monitoring and reliability improvement initiatives Support the delivery of capital and site improvement projects Maintain and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems Plan, record, and manage maintenance tasks through the CMMS Collaborate with production teams to improve uptime and operational efficiency Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimise production impact Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting About You Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter within FMCG or industrial environments Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems Proactive, self-driven, and able to work autonomously Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to look beyond immediate fixes and implement long-term solutions Committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement What's on Offer Hourly rate of ($***** – $*****) Day shift with flexible start and finish times (Choose when you want to arrive and Finish) – Must be a 38hour week!
