25th August, **** Reporting to the Head of Onboarding, Current Business, this role plays a key part in supporting domestic and international asset managers looking to establish retail and wholesale funds in Australia.
You will be responsible for managing end-to-end onboarding transactions across multiple jurisdictions and time zones, with a strong focus on stakeholder management, fund structuring, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities Managing end-to-end onboarding of new fund structures and custody appointments across a range of asset classes.
Building and maintaining robust relationships with clients, investment managers, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders.
Leading the negotiation and preparation of legal and contractual documentation for new fund establishments.
Project managing onboarding transactions, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations are met.
Preparing and presenting documentation for internal committees, including approval memoranda and current fund information forms.
Maintaining onboarding trackers, Salesforce updates, and internal checklists to ensure process consistency and accuracy.
Coordinating and leading onboarding calls with clients and key stakeholders.
Ensuring adherence to internal frameworks, policies, and SLAs across all onboarding processes.
Supporting business development activities and contributing to a high-performing team culture.
Staying up to date with regulatory requirements and assisting with compliance activities, including internal control testing.
What You'll Need to Succeed Minimum 5 years' experience in financial services, with at least 2 years in a similar onboarding, funds management or client-facing role.
Strong knowledge of the funds management industry, including retail and wholesale fund structures.
Experience reviewing legal contracts and fund documentation.
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
Strong project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
A client-focused mindset with a proactive and solutions-driven approach.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Law.
