Springwood Smiles, a family dental practice located in Gawler East SA, is seeking a energetic and dedicated Dental Assistant with Dental Reception skills to join our team.
This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
This role is Part Time.
Your responsibilities
As a Dental Assistant you will:
Assist chairside with a variety of dental procedures
Set up, change over, and shut down surgeries
Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment
Participate in team meetings and contributing to the overall operations of the practice
Occasionally, you will be required to do reception tasks.
On reception, you will:
Greet patients, and create a warm, welcoming setting
Answer phones, schedule appointments, manage confirmations and handling payment processing
Provide exceptional customer service and responding to patient enquires and concerns
About you
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous experience as a Dental Assistant
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail
Proficient in using dental software and computer systems
Commitment to providing high quality patient care and maintaining a professional demeanor
Adaptable and adaptable, able to work well in a team environment
