Role Overview
n
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – AWS Cloud Engineer to deliver infrastructure and platform solutions for strategic cloud initiatives, including customer-facing and data-driven platforms.
n
This role requires a highly motivated self-starter who can independently drive detailed technical solution design, implementation, and delivery outcomes with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineering teams, architects, business stakeholders, and vendors.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Lead your module of work independently within strategic projects and platform initiatives.
n
Drive detailed technical solution design from requirements through implementation (architecture work led by others).
n
Lead detailed design sessions and technical discussions.
n
Make informed technology and platform decisions aligned with business objectives.
n
Escalate complex technical issues to the Architecture Lead as needed.
n
Work with business and technical stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
n
Produce Detailed Designs (LLD), infrastructure documentation, and operational support models.
n
Design, implement, and support AWS-based platforms and services.
n
Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.
n




Perform root-cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
n
Contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing activities.
n
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
n
Engage with project managers, architects, security teams, and vendors.
n
Present technical options, trade-offs, and recommendations.
n

Required Skills & Experience:
n
n
8+ years of Cloud Infrastructure or Platform Engineering experience.
n
3+ years in a Technical Lead, Platform Lead, or Senior Engineering role.
n
Strong AWS infrastructure expertise (EC2, VPC, IAM, Route53, CloudWatch, S3, Load Balancers, Secrets Manager, Systems Manager, ECR).
n
Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
n
Experience designing highly available and resilient cloud architectures.
n
Knowledge of disaster recovery, auto-scaling, monitoring & alerting, secrets management, and security controls.
n
Solid troubleshooting and incident management skills.
n
Ability to work independently and drive outcomes with minimal supervision.
n
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
n

Preferred

CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.
n
Experience in supporting Amazon EKS platforms.
n
Kafka and event-driven architectures.
n
Databricks and enterprise data platforms.
n
API platforms and microservices.
n
GitOps and ArgoCD.
n
Large enterprise or regulated environments.
