ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Design & Estimating Engineer to join a leading geotechnical and foundation engineering contractor based in Sydney, NSW. This is a great opportunity to work on major piling and ground engineering projects across Australia, supporting design, estimating, and project delivery from tender through to construction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
n
n
Prepare concept and detailed designs for piling, foundation, and ground engineering projects.
n
Develop cost estimates, tender submissions, and technical proposals.
n
Review tender documents, project specifications, and engineering requirements.
n
Produce engineering calculations and coordinate CAD drawings.
n
Provide technical support during tendering, design, and construction phases.
n
Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal project teams.
n
Conduct site inspections and assist with pile testing as required.
n
Support reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
n

REQUIREMENTS:
n
n




Degree qualified in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
n
5–10 years' experience in design and estimating within piling, geotechnical, or foundation engineering.
n
Strong knowledge of piling, foundation, and ground improvement systems.
n
Experience preparing engineering designs, estimates, and tender submissions.
n
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and commercial awareness.
n
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
n
