$77,483 per annum (LGIA Stream B Level 5 + Site) + Superannuation

About the Role
n
Fitzroy River Water is seeking an experienced Plant Operator/Labourer to support the construction, maintenance, and operational activities essential to delivering reliable water and sewerage services to our community.
n
If you hold current competency in Skid Steer, Excavator, and Backhoe operation, we'd love to hear from you. This is an excellent prospect to join a dedicated team committed to maintaining critical infrastructure across the region.
n
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

What you'll do
n
n
Operate trucks and plant such as excavators, backhoes and skid steers
n
Carry out civil construction tasks including pipe laying and basic concreting
n
Maintain and repair water and sewer infrastructure, including hydrants, valves and mains
n
Perform basic servicing of equipment and report defects or safety issues
n




Work safely using hand tools while supporting a multi-skilled team
n
n
What we are looking for

Strong labouring background
n
MR Licence and ability to legally operate an excavator, backhoe and skid steer
n
Safety focused and the ability to identify hazards and risks on the worksite
n
