We are seeking a versatile operator who is confident working across a combination of plant and transport duties, including an 8t Excavator, Skid Steer/Posi-Track, Backhoe Loader, Body Truck and Tag Trailer.

About the Role
n
As a Combo Operator, you will support our civil project team across a range of plant operation, loading, unloading and transport activities.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Operating an 8t Excavator
n
Operating Skid Steer / Posi-Track
n
Operating a Backhoe Loader
n
Operating a Body Truck and Tag Trailer
n
Loading and unloading plant and equipment
n
Transporting plant between work locations as required
n
Completing daily pre-starts and equipment inspections
n
Working safely in and around road environments
n
Working effectively within a small crew, including teams of two
n
Working independently when required
n
Following all project, safety, environmental and operational requirements
n
Maintaining a high standard of care for plant and equipment
n
Contributing to a productive and professional project team
n
n
About You
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
Construction Industry White Card
n
Relevant competency for Backhoe operations
n
Relevant competency for Hydraulic Excavator operations
n
Relevant competency for Skid Steer Loader operations
n
Relevant competency for Rigid Haul Truck operations
n




Desirable - Current HR or HC heavy vehicle driver's licence appropriate for the truck and tag trailer combination
n
Proven experience operating multiple types of civil plant
n
Experience safely loading and unloading plant
n
Civil construction experience
n
Confidence working in and around roads and live work environments
n
Strong commitment to safety and site procedures
n
Ability to work effectively in a small team
n
Ability to work reliably and independently when required
n
Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
n
Reliability, punctuality and pride in your work
n
n
We are particularly interested in a genuine multi-skilled operator who can move between different pieces of equipment as project requirements change.
n
