The Office Manager will coordinate daily operations, support a small team and help ensure our training calendar, client programs and internal processes run smoothly. This role would suit a strong administrator, coordinator or operations professional ready to step up. Extensive management experience is not essential; attitude, ownership, judgement and team fit matter most. This role is full-time onsite at our head office in Woollongabba (Brisbane). This is not a hybrid or remote role and will require your attendance onsite full time.

Key responsibilities
n
n
Lead and support a small office-based team, including workloads, priorities, regular check-ins and day-to-day performance.
n
Turn business priorities into practical plans, timelines and responsibilities, while monitoring progress and resolving issues.
n
Oversee delivery of SEG's 12-month training calendar, including scheduling, trainer allocation, capacity planning and annual client training programs.
n
Monitor registrations, engagement, feedback, attendance, expenditure and operational performance, providing useful observations to the Executive Management Team.
n
Support accurate training records, enrolments, client communication, certificate management and reporting requirements.
n
Improve procedures, systems and workflows, including practical opportunities to use automation, technology and AI.
n
Manage customer escalations, supplier coordination and operational issues in a professional, solutions-focused way.
n

About you
n
We are looking for someone practical, organised and ready for more responsibility. You may already be in administration, coordination or operations and looking to step into broader operational leadership.
n
The right person for this role:

Has experience leading, supervising or coaching others, or is ready to grow into this responsibility.
n
Is highly organised and can manage several priorities, projects and deadlines without losing sight of the details.
n
Communicates naturally and professionally, raises issues early and keeps relevant people informed.
n
Takes ownership, follows work through and uses sound judgement when making decisions or escalating concerns.
n
Is confident with business software and Microsoft Office 365 platforms, and is comfortable learning new platforms.
n
Can interpret operational information, customer feedback, budgets and performance results and explain what they may be telling us.
n
Enjoys working in a small team where roles are varied, people help each other and practical ideas are welcomed.
n
Has exposure to training, compliance, scheduling, RTO administration or education (not essential!).
n
