With an expanding client base, we are looking for a Senior SMSF Auditor to join our great team.
n
You will work alongside talented professionals providing SMSF audit services to clients across Australia.
n
The responsibilities will include:
n
Conduct SMSF audits to a high professional standard.
n
Establish audit objectives and apply audit methodologies, procedures and report criteria appropriate to SMSF engagements.
n
Analyse and interpret SMSF financial records, investment activity, member benefits and supporting documentation to assess compliance and audit risk.
n
Identify, evaluate and report on financial, operational and compliance risks, including the effectiveness of relevant controls and processes.
n
Prepare clear audit reports and communicate findings to trustees, administrators, clients and relevant regulatory bodies as required.
n




Review work completed by junior auditors and provide practical coaching and feedback.
n
Researching complex superannuation issues
n
Communicate directly with clients regarding technical, compliance and audit matters.
n
Contribute to process improvements, quality initiatives and team development.
n
Support workflow management, turnaround targets and efficient audit delivery.
n
We are looking for people with:
n

Solid knowledge of SIS legislation and SMSF compliance requirements.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability and professional scepticism.
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
The ability to liaise with clients, colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
n
Demonstrated ability to prioritise and collaborate effectively with others
n
Minimum 2+ years' experience in SMSF audit.
