Job Description
Head of Return to Work | Occupational Rehabilitation
n
Are you an experienced Occupational Rehabilitation professional ready to take the next step into senior leadership?
n
Do you love improving systems, developing people and seeing your ideas translate into better Return to Work outcomes?
n
Do you want the opportunity to take ownership of a growing RTW team and help shape where it goes next?
n
About You
n
You are an experienced Occupational Rehabilitation professional who understands what great Return to Work looks like.
n
You're a natural leader who enjoys developing people, solving problems and improving the way a team operates.
n
You don't just identify that something isn't working, you take ownership, work out why and make sure the solution is actually implemented.
n
You enjoy using data, systems and processes to improve performance, but you also understand that excellent RTW outcomes ultimately come from great people making good decisions.
n
Perhaps you've been working as a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant, Team Leader or Rehabilitation Manager and know you're capable of contributing at a higher level.
n
Things are about to change. Read on to hear how.
n
The Opportunity
n
My Health Team is looking for an experienced Head of Return to Work to provide operational leadership and oversight of our growing Return to Work division.
n
This isn't simply another case management position.
n
You will have genuine ownership of how our RTW operations perform.
n
Working closely with our Senior Management team and RTW Team Leader, you'll help ensure our people, systems and processes consistently deliver high-quality outcomes for injured workers, employers and insurers.
n
You'll take responsibility for areas including:
n
Operational performance of the RTW division
n
Quality assurance and case governance
n
KPI and SLA performance
n
Supporting and developing our RTW Team Leader
n
Improving systems and operational processes
n
Monitoring higher-risk, stalled and complex claims
n
Using data to identify risks and opportunities
n
Implementing and embedding operational improvements
n
Ensuring actions and agreed changes happen
n
Importantly, this isn't a role where you'll sit on the sidelines producing reports.
n
You will use reporting and data to identify problems, make decisions and drive measurable improvements across the team.
n
You'll also maintain a limited case management workload so you remain connected to the realities of frontline RTW service delivery.
n
What You'll Get to Build
n
Our Return to Work division is growing, and we're looking for someone who wants to help us take it to the next level.
n
If you like accountability, continuous improvement and having the authority to make a genuine difference, you'll enjoy this role.
n
About Us
n
My Health Team is a multidisciplinary allied health and workplace rehabilitation organisation focused on achieving great outcomes for our clients, employers and insurers.
n
We are continuing to grow our Return to Work services and have ambitious plans for the future.
n
We're committed to building a high-performing team while maintaining the supportive, enjoyable culture that has helped My Health Team grow.
n
We believe good leadership means providing people with clear expectations, the right systems and support, and then creating accountability for delivering great outcomes.
n
This role will be an important part of that next stage.
n
To Be Successful in This Role
n
You will ideally have:
n
A minimum of 5 years' experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation
n
At least 2 years' experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity
n
Strong knowledge and experience across Return to Work and occupational rehabilitation
n
Experience managing, mentoring or developing rehabilitation consultants
n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
The ability to identify performance issues and implement practical solutions
n
Excellent organisational and project management skills
n
Confidence working with KPIs, operational data and performance measures
n
A relevant allied health qualification and appropriate Australian professional registration/accreditation
n
A current unrestricted driver's licence
n
Experience in quality assurance, operational management, process improvement or rehabilitation leadership will be highly regarded.
n
This Role Will Suit You If...
n
You're looking for more than simply managing your own caseload.
n
You want to lead, improve and build.
n
You want to be trusted to identify problems and given the opportunity to solve them.
n
And you want the opportunity to play an important role in the growth of a business rather than simply filling a position within one.
n
If you're an experienced Occupational Rehabilitation professional who believes you can help us build an exceptional Return to Work operation, we would love to meet you.
n
Tell us why this opportunity is for you!
