About the Opportunity
n
Cafs is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Men's Behaviour Change Practitioner to join our Family Safety team.
n
This senior practitioner role will provide advanced case management, group facilitation and practice leadership within our long-standing Men's Behaviour Change Program. You will work with men who use violence, support family safety outcomes and contribute to service quality, mentoring and continuous improvement initiatives.

n
For more than 30 years, Cafs has delivered Men's Behaviour Change Programs designed to increase accountability, reduce family violence and support safer relationships and communities.
n
The program works with voluntary and court-mandated participants and plays a key role in Cafs' commitment to eliminating family violence.
n
About the Role
n
As the Senior Men's Behaviour Change Practitioner, you will:
n
n
Lead intake, assessment and risk management processes.
n
Manage a complex caseload of men who use violence.
n
Undertake ongoing MARAM risk assessment and safety planning.
n
Deliver high-level case management and tailored interventions.
n
Co-facilitate Men's Behaviour Change Groups.
n
Use motivational interviewing and advanced engagement strategies.
n
Work closely with Family Safety Practitioners and partner agencies.
n
Liaise with courts and stakeholders regarding mandated participants.
n
Mentor and support SW4 Men's Behaviour Change Practitioners.
n
Contribute to program planning, evaluation, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
n

About You
n
You will bring:
n
n
Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent and/or Graduate Certificate in Family Violence.
n
Demonstrated experience working with men who use violence.
n
Strong knowledge and application of the MARAM Framework.
n
Minimum 100 hours of Men's Behaviour Change Group facilitation experience.
n
Advanced understanding of family violence risk and accountability-based practice.
n
Ability to mentor and support less experienced practitioners.
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities.
n
Current Victorian Driver Licence.
n
