Leasing Consultant – Property Management

About the role
n
This is a hands‐on leasing role where you will manage the leasing process from preparing a property for market through to presenting quality applications to our Property Managers and Business Development Manager. You will be joining an established and supportive team with a strong focus on providing excellent service to our landlords and prospective tenants.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Managing the leasing process from property listing through to preparing application summaries for the Property Manager and/or BDM
n
Preparing and uploading rental listings across relevant online platforms
n
Drafting high‐quality advertising copy for recent managements and re‐let properties
n
Arranging and attending professional photography and floor plan appointments where required
n
Coordinating signboards, photography, keys and other property marketing requirements
n
Conducting open homes and private inspections, including Saturday inspections where rostered
n
Responding promptly and professionally to rental enquiries from prospective tenants
n
Processing tenancy applications, including checking identification, income, rental history, references and tenancy databases
n
Preparing detailed application summaries and recommendations for Property Managers and/or the BDM to present to property owners
n
Assisting with Social Media posts for the Property Management team
n
About you
n
Previous experience in leasing or property management roles
n
Confident conducting inspections and communicating with prospective tenants
n




Strong organisation and time‐management skills
n
Ability to manage a high volume of enquiries, applications and follow‐ups without losing attention to detail
n
Professional and confident communication with tenants, landlords and internal team members
n
Proactive and understands the importance of following up
n
Ability to assess leasing activity and provide practical recommendations when a property is not attracting the right level of enquiry
n
Works well as part of a busy and supportive Property Management team
n
Current QLD Real Estate Registration Certificate and driver's licence required
n
