Construction Manager – Execution Readiness – Early Works Coordinator

3-Month Contract | Brisbane | Requiring someone with Greenfield experience

An opportunity is available for an experienced Project Execution / Early Works Coordinator to support execution readiness for an emerging mining project as it progresses through the Feasibility Study phase.
n
This initial 3-month contract will suit a hands-on project professional with strong mining project experience across civil earthworks, contractor mobilisation and early works planning.
n
The Role
n
Working closely with the project team, you will help develop and coordinate the early works strategy and ensure key contractors, work fronts and interfaces are ready for execution.
n
Key responsibilities will include:
n
n
Access road upgrade planning and execution readiness
n
Clear and grub and bulk earthworks contractor mobilisation planning
n
Contractor site establishment and logistics planning
n
Crushing and screening plant establishment
n
Load and haul road planning
n
TSF and water dam contractor establishment
n
Work-front and contractor interface planning
n
Site boundary and execution interface coordination
n
Development of preliminary Project Execution Plan (PEP) documentation
n




Preparation of supporting execution readiness plans and documentation
n

About You
n
We are looking for someone with:
n
n
Strong civil earthworks/greenfield and early works exposure
n
Experience coordinating contractor mobilisation and site establishment
n
Sound understanding of work-front, interface and execution planning
n
Strong planning and organisational capability
n
Excellent written communication and project documentation skills
n
Ability to work autonomously and quickly bring structure to an evolving project
n
n
Experience supporting mining projects through feasibility into execution/early works will be highly regarded.
n
