About the Role

An established and growing Building Automation specialist is looking for an experienced BMS Service Technician to join its Melbourne team.
n
You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and optimising BMS and HVAC control systems across a diverse portfolio of commercial and critical facilities. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician looking for autonomy, technical variety and long-term career development.

Duties
n
n
Service, maintain and troubleshoot BMS and HVAC control systems
n
Diagnose hardware, software, network and controls faults
n
Complete preventative and reactive maintenance
n
Perform system modifications, upgrades and minor programming
n




Commission and test BMS controllers and field devices
n
Liaise with clients and provide high-quality technical support
n
Complete service reports and technical documentation
n
n
Skills & Experience
n
n
Previous experience as a BMS/BAS Service Technician or Controls Technician
n
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and control strategies
n
Experience with BMS platforms such as Niagara, Innotech, Distech, Schneider, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Delta or similar
n
Knowledge of BACnet, Modbus and building automation networks
n
Robust fault-finding and commissioning capability
n
Electrical or HVAC trade/engineering qualifications advantageous
n
