Join Shadforth, one of Queensland's largest family-owned civil contractors with over 50 years in the industry. We deliver projects that shape communities – and we're looking for an experienced Surveyor or Senior Surveyor to take the lead on projects across the Rockhampton Region. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery and continued growth of our projects in the Region.

You'll have autonomy to manage surveying requirements on-site, working independently while partnering closely with our project teams. You'll have the backing of our Regional Survey Manager and experienced surveying team, providing remote support and collaboration when required.

What You'll Do
n
n
Take ownership of surveying requirements for our Rockhampton Region
n
Lead all surveying and set-out tasks across a range of civil construction projects
n
Support new projects as our pipeline and presence in the region continues to grow
n
Operate modern survey equipment and software
n
Manage survey data, calculations, and quality checks
n
Collaborate with engineers, site teams, and project managers to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery
n
Identify survey requirements and proactively plan works to support construction programs
n

What We're Looking For
n
n
An experienced Surveyor or Senior Surveyor with a strong background in civil construction
n
Confidence to work autonomously and take ownership of surveying activities across projects
n
Strong technical knowledge across set-out, data management, calculations and quality assurance
n
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
n
Confident using survey instruments/software (Trimble, GPS, AutoCAD, 12D)
n
A team player with a proactive attitude
