About the role

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to develop your field engineering and subcontractor management skills to lay the foundation for a successful future as geotechnical engineer. We're seeking a candidate who is genuinely passionate about completing and managing site investigations and contributing to geotechnical engineering projects.
n
In addition to your project involvement, you'll have direct interaction with clients and contractors and will learn how to contribute to the preparation of geotechnical reports.
n
Working closely with our experts, you will collaborate on diverse projects across multiple sectors spanning mining, civil, renewables, and transport infrastructure — offering you the chance to innovate, collaborate, and grow in a role with real impact.

About you
n
We are looking for early career geotechnical engineers who bring an inquisitive and practical approach, an energy towards their work and the team, and a rapidly expanding technical knowledge base. You will have strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to build strong team and client relationships.
n
Ideally you will have:
n
A Civil Engineering, Geology or Geotechnical Engineering degree
n
Up to 2 years of experience in geotechnical investigations and site work
n
Soil and rock logging competency, including performance of in-situ tests
n
An interest in developing your business development and analytical skills
n
Strong collaboration skills along with the confidence to work independently when required
n
An enthusiasm to travel to where the action is, including remote areas and interstate travel
n
