J Kis Migration Our client is looking for an experienced diesel mechanic with over 6 years of experience. Tasks and duties include: Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.

Dismantling and repairing engine assemblies, transmissions, and brakes. Performing scheduled maintenance, such as oil changes and tune-ups. Reassemble, test, and adjust parts for proper performance.

Task & responsibilities

Diagnosis and Testing
n
Run computer diagnostic tests to find engine and electrical codes.
n
Test-drive vehicles or operate machinery to check performance.
n
n
Repair and Maintenance
n
n
Dismantle and assemble engines, transmissions, and steering systems.
n
Fix or swap out broken, cracked, or worn-out parts.
n
n
Service
n
n
Service braking, suspension, cooling, and hydraulic systems.
n




Perform routine tune-ups, oil changes, and part lubrication.

Safety and Record Keeping
n
n
Follow strict workplace health and safety (WHS) rules.
n
Read technical manuals, schematics, and service blueprints.
n
Write service reports, log repairs, and manage parts inventory.

Qualification & experience

Diesel motor mechanic certificate, Over 6 years of work experience and valid driving licence.
