Work a 9 days on 5 days off roster, earning a salary of $104,000pa plus Super
n
OR
n
Work a 14 days on 7 days off roster, earning a Salary of $85,000pa plus Super
n
n

FIFO from Townsville or Brisbane Available.

The Position
n
n
Work collaboratively with a team of Chefs, Kitchen Utilities and Dining Room employees
n
Buffet style bulk cooking for Breakfast and Crib Lunch, or Dinner and Desserts
n
Ensure OH&S; compliance, adhering to secure work practices and food handling procedures
n
Ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to the minimum
n
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness inaccordance with Compass standards
n
Assist Head Chefs in managing team performance and employee development
n
n
The Person
n
n
You will be a qualified Chef with a minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery or Equivalent
n
Bulk catering or buffet experienceis essential.
n
You will have the ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
n




Attention to detail and outstanding time management is a must.
n
Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
n
Excellent knowledge of food safety and able to manage compliance.
n
