Who we're looking for
n
We're looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Platforms SRE team within AC3's Hybrid Cloud Practice. This team plays a key role in building, deploying and improving the Kubernetes platforms that underpin AC3's services and broader hybrid cloud environment.
n
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys project delivery, then staying close to the ongoing engineering that keeps Kubernetes environments stable, secure and performing at a high standard.
n

What you'll do
n
n
Deploy and improve Kubernetes platforms across AC3's hybrid cloud environment
n
Manage day-to-day Kubernetes operations including application deployments, upgrades, pod rescheduling, host draining and control plane scaling
n
Build and expand automation across the platform using tools such as GitHub Actions, Ansible, Puppet and Jenkins
n
n
What we'd love to see?
n
n
Experience deploying and operating Kubernetes platforms in on-premises or datacentre environments (ideally on RHEL or similar)
n
Working knowledge of Python, Bash or similar scripting languages
n
Experience deploying applications and managing operational changes across Kubernetes environments
n
n
A plus if you have...
n
n
Experience with Rancher
n
Exposure to AI or GPU-based workloads (or willingness to learn)Experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, vRO or VMware Aria
n
