SafeDig Services (part of the Southern Cross Industrial Group) are a well-established hydro excavation company with locations in Sumner and Yatala. We provide non-destructive digging services to local and state government throughout Queensland. In addition, we offer CCTV ground exploration services alongside our Hydrovac operations.

About the role
n
n
Responsible for completing vacuum excavation works aroundBrisbane region
n
Inspect job site for any safety concerns or hazards including traffic management requirements
n
Ensure plant and machinery are in good working condition at all times by performing pre and post trip inspections
n
Understand Safety and PPE requirements and be able to work safely at all times
n
You will be expected to complete relevant paperwork for your jobs
n
Drive trucks safely to and from work sites
n
Must manage time effectively
n
Able to work extended hours as needed
n
Able to travel when needed - accommodation will be provided
n
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test
n
This role is 10% driving and 90% hands on manual work, must be fit and willing to do manual work

Essentials
n
n
Current MR/HR Driver's licence with good driving record
n
Experience with VAC truck highly regarded
n
Experience in the Civil Construction or Mining sector
n
Construction Industry white card
n
Excavator RII
n
n
Advantageous
n
n
Safe Access to Rail Corridor accreditation
n
Rail Worker Industry Card
n
Rail Safety Worker Card
n
Rail Category 3 Medical Assessment (in date)

Excavation and Forklift ticket
n
First aid certificate
n
Confined spaces certificate

Traffic history report
