Salary: $107,487 - $114,917 p.a. (pro rata) + 12% superannuation + leave loading & Salary Sacrifice Benefits

As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM), you'll work alongside the Nurse Unit Manager to provide clinical leadership, support a skilled multidisciplinary team, and help ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality palliative care. You'll play a key role in mentoring staff, driving continuous improvement, and contributing to the day-to-day coordination of the unit.

Key Responsibilities:
n

Lead the delivery of palliative care services, ensuring continuity and consistency
n
Assist in managing ward/unit operations, including staffing, performance, and financial planning.
n
Foster collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care outcomes.
n




Support the development of less experienced staff and ensure high practice standards.
n
Contribute to practice improvements and operational management alongside the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager.
n

What We're Looking For:
n
n
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
n
Demonstrated clinical experience and leadership capability (at least 3 years post-registration experience)
n
Excellent communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution and teamwork skills.
n
The ability to support, mentor and develop staff while promoting a positive team culture.
n
Sound clinical judgement and a commitment to quality improvement and safe practice.
n
