About the Role
n
This role will suit an experienced Senior CNC Machinist, CNC Setter Programmer, CNC Leading Hand or CNC Team Leader who enjoys working in a high-spec manufacturing environment and supporting others on the floor.
n
You will be joining a team that values technical capability, quality workmanship, leadership, and the ability to keep production moving safely and efficiently.
n
Hours
n
n
Monday to Thursday:



7:00am – 3:30pm
n
Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
n
Day shift only
n
Permanent opportunity

To Be Considered
n
You will need strong experience in one or more of the following:
n
n
Swiss sliding head / sliding headstock machines
n
CNC multi-tasking / mill-turn machinery
n
Horizontal machining centres
n
Precision machining and tight tolerance work
n
Aerospace, defence, medical or high-spec manufacturing
n
CNC setting, programming, troubleshooting and production support
n
Leading hands, mentoring operators or supporting production teams
n
n
What We Are Looking For
n
The successful candidate will be someone who can confidently support the workshop floor, assist with technical machine-related questions, mentor team members, and help ensure production runs to a high standard.
n
You will bring:
n
n
Strong CNC machining background
n
Proven experience in a senior, leading hand or team leader capacity
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
n
Strong quality and accuracy focus
n
Good communication and problem-solving skills
n
Ability to work safely and professionally in a precision manufacturing environment
n
Confidence to step into the role and make an impact quickly
n
