The Role
n
We're looking for a Sydney-based Service Technician to service commercial gas and electrical catering equipment across quality hospitality venues. You'll be our technician on the ground in Sydney, fully backed by our Melbourne-based coordination and support team — you're never on your own.
n
We're open to your background: a gas technician with a disconnect/reconnect licence, a dual-trade technician, or an electrician with solid gas appliance experience. Whichever way you've come up, we'll support you with training across the rest.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing commercial gas and electrical catering equipment
n
Preventative maintenance to minimise breakdowns and downtime
n
Fault finding across a wide range of kitchen equipment and major brands
n
Explicit, professional communication with customers on-site
n
Completing job reports and documentation via our field service app
n
n
What You'll Need (Essential)
n




One of the following licence combinations:
n
n
NSW gas work licence (NSW Fair Trading) plus restricted electrical licence — disconnect/reconnect; or
n
Dual trade qualification (electrical + gasfitting/plumbing with gas); or
n
NSW electrician licence plus demonstrated gas appliance servicing experience and gas work licence
n
n
Plus:
n
n
Proven experience servicing commercial catering / food equipment (or closely related — commercial appliances, HVAC, hot water)
n
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
n
Full Australian working rights
n
Current Australian driver's licence
n
Ability to work independently and manage your own day — you'll be our Sydney presence
n
Solid communication and customer service skills
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
Experience across major brands of commercial kitchen equipment (e.g. combi ovens, speed ovens, dishwashers, fryers)
n
Previous field service experience
n
Experience working in large venues (casinos, stadiums, hotels, airports)
n
n
What We Offer

$105,000 – $120,000 + super, based on experience and licence coverage
n
Choice of a standard 5-day week or a compressed 4-day week
