Our client is a market leader in the industrial services sector, delivering specialised engineering solutions to a broad range of national customers. As part of a multi-year Finance Transformation Program, the organisation is building a standardised, scalable, and insight-led Finance function to support continued growth, investor readiness, and operational excellence. They are now seeking an experienced Finance Systems Accountant to join their Finance team and play a key role in supporting and improving the financial systems and ERP environment.

The Role
n
Reporting to the Finance Systems Manager, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation and ongoing development of the organisation's ERP environment. You'll provide hands‐on support to Finance users; help maintain system integrity and work closely with the wider Finance Systems team to deliver ongoing transformation and improvement initiatives.

What you'll be doing
n
In this wide-ranging role, you'll:
n
Provide day-to-day functional support to Finance users across ERP and financial systems.
n
Troubleshoot and help resolve issues affecting GL, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
n
Support the maintenance of financial mapping and chart of accounts structures.
n
Assist with system testing, upgrades, patches and configuration changes, including documenting results and identifying defects.
n
Maintain and enhance Finance reports, dashboards and system documentation.
n
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the user experience for Finance.
n
Develop and maintain process maps, user guides and training materials.
n
Provide practical guidance and coaching to Finance users on system functionality and best practice.
n
Participate in Finance systems projects, including ERP enhancements, implementations and upgrades.
n
Contribute to UAT,



data migration, go‐live preparation and post‐implementation support.
n
Work collaboratively with Finance colleagues, ICT and external vendors to deliver effective solutions.
n
About you
n
We're looking for someone with a strong accounting foundation who is curious about technology and enjoys understanding how systems and processes work.
n
You'll ideally have
n
A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
n
CPA or CA qualification, or be close to completing your qualification.
n
2–3 years' experience in accounting, finance systems or ERP support.
n
Practical experience working with an ERP system and core Finance modules.
n
Sound knowledge of accounting principles and GL, AP and AR processes.
n
Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
n
Excellent attention to detail and a structured approach to problem solving.
n
The ability to explain systems and processes clearly to non-technical users.
n
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
A collaborative mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
n
Experience with Infor LN will be highly regarded. Experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or Dynamics will also be valuable.
n
Experience in system testing, ERP implementations/upgrades, process improvement, Power BI, advanced Excel, or a multi‐entity environment will be advantageous.
