We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate with 4-5 years PQE to join our market leading Financial Services & Funds team in Sydney or Brisbane reporting directly to Partner, Trudi Procter.You'll also collaborate closely with our Sydney-based Partners, including Bill Fuggle (Head of our Banking & Finance / Financial Services & Funds practice) and Alan Darwin, Partner.

Our practice

The Financial Services & Funds Group are experienced advisers located across our Sydney and Brisbane offices and offer a broad range of financial services regulation and funds management, including areas such as payments and Fintech regulation, licensing, AML/CTF regulation, exchange traded funds, structured equities and derivatives, financial markets and financial product disclosure.

The Australian group works closely with its Global team to advise the firm's national and multi-national clients in respect of a broad range of financial products and offerings.

About you
n
You will have:
n
n
minimum 4-5 years' experience in financial services regulatory;
n
relevant experience in a top tier or leading international law firm (preferred);
n
a strong client service focus;
n
a commitment to high standards including strong drafting and commercial skills, and excellent analytical, written and oral communication;
n
an ability to develop strong relationships with clients and take responsibility for these relationships, together with business development aptitude, interest, and experience;
n
an ability to work well in a team environment (including across our Australian offices and internationally); and
n
a proven ability to delegate and willingness to develop others through mentoring and sharing experiences.
