About the role
n
As a Parts Interpreter, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers while supporting the day-to-day operation of our parts department. This is a varied hands-on role that supports both our internal service department and external customers. The role includes day-to-day parts interpreting responsibilities, while also contributing to stock control, warehouse coordination and process improvement across the parts operation. Reporting to the Parts and Logistics Manager, you'll become part of a supportive team that plays an important role in keeping our customers and workshop operating efficiently.

Key responsibilities

Respond to internal and external customer parts enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
n




Manage parts enquiries from initial request through to supply and completion
n
Identify, interpret and source parts accurately and efficiently
n
Process quotations, sales orders and customer payments
n
Support the in-house service department with parts requirements
n
Pick, pack and dispatch parts as required
n
Assist with stock control and general warehouse activities
n
Work collaboratively with colleagues across service, sales and administration
n
Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work environment
n
About you
n
Excellent communicator and ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and experience levels
n
Works methodically and can prioritise tasks in a busy environment
n
Solid attention to detail, organised, resourceful and process driven
n
Reliable, motivated and enjoys working both autonomously and as part of a team
n
Sound computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
n
A Safety First and Continuous Improvement mindset
n
Holds a current driver's licence
n
Experience in the automotive parts industry, commercial vehicle, truck or bus preferred
n
Current forklift licence, or willingness to obtain one, highly regarded
n
