Job Description
This is a part-time, hands-on compliance role supporting the audit of asset finance and consumer finance loan files, monitoring responsible lending practices, and helping meet obligations under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act **** (NCCP Act). You'll work closely with our Compliance Manager, lending and credit teams to help maintain a strong, audit-ready compliance framework.

Key responsibilities

Conduct regular NCCP file audits and quality checks across asset finance and consumer finance loan portfolios
n
Monitor responsible lending practices and flag compliance issues for asset and consumer finance products
n
Help maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and registers
n
Support complaints handling, incident logs, and breach reporting (including ASIC and AFCA requirements)
n
Liaise with credit representatives, brokers, and lenders on compliance queries and remediation
n
Assist in preparing compliance reports and audit findings for the Compliance Manager and leadership team
n
Support obligations under Australian Credit Licence (ACL), including AML/CTF and privacy requirements
n
Help deliver compliance training and guidance to the sales and lending team as required
n
Keep abreast of regulatory changes affecting NCCP and the asset and consumer finance industry

About you




n

Experience in an NCCP compliance, audit, or risk role - ideally within asset finance or consumer finance
n
Sound working knowledge of the NCCP Act, responsible lending obligations, and relevant ASIC regulatory guides
n
Cert IV or Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking Management (or equivalent) highly regarded
n
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and file-review skills
n
Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with the lending team and management
n
Self-motivated and able to manage workload independently in a part-time capacity
n
