Supporting clients across Victoria, Queensland, and Tasmania, we're growing our behaviour support team in Hobart & Launceston and are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner who brings warmth, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to supporting clients every step of the way.

This role is ideal for a practitioner who values flexibility, high-quality practice, and autonomy while delivering meaningful Positive Behaviour Support.

The Role
n
We're looking for a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Hobart & Launceston) who can manage their own NDIS caseload and deliver high-quality behaviour support services. You will have access to the guidance, tools, and resources you need to provide clients with the best possible outcomes.
n
Your Week Will Typically Include
n
n
Managing your own NDIS caseload and delivering person-centred Positive Behaviour Support.
n
Conducting behavioural assessments, including functional behaviour assessments.
n
Developing and implementing behaviour support plans.
n
Participating in clinical supervision and multidisciplinary case conferences.
n
Communicating with clients, families, carers, and support coordinators.
n
Flexible work arrangements: in-community visits, office, and work-from-home options.
n

In This Role, You Will
n
n
Support clients to achieve meaningful, functional outcomes.
n
Develop clear behaviour support plans, including restrictive practices where appropriate.
n
Complete high-quality documentation and reports to meet NDIS and organisational standards.
n
Collaborate with families, carers, and other professionals for holistic client care.
n
Engage in ongoing career development through supervision, training, and reflective practice.

What You'll Bring
n
n
A relevant tertiary qualification (minimum bachelor's degree) in Psychology, Social Work, Allied Health, or a related field.
n
2–3 years' experience working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or in a similar role within the NDIS or disability sector.
n
Strong understanding of Positive Behaviour Support and person-centred practice.
n
Experience conducting assessments and developing behaviour support plans.
n
Excellent communication and report writing skills.
n
A compassionate, client-focused approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
