About the Role
n
n
Be a key part of our highly skilled CNC machining team - work alongside experienced machinists and engineers.
n
Put your programming and machining expertise to work programming, setting and operating medium and large 3 & 5-axis CNC machining centres to produce complex,
high-precision components for the defence and aerospace industries.
n

Your Responsibilities
n
n
Program, set and operate CNC milling machines.
n
Produce high precision components to exact engineering specifications.
n
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
n
Select and use precision measuring equipment.
n
Maintain exceptional quality standards.
n
Follow safe work practices with a "Safety Before Production" mindset.
n
Work collaboratively with a highly skilled machining team.
n
n
Desired Skills and Experience
n
About You
n
You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys machining and takes pride in producing quality work.
n
You'll also bring:
n
n
Solid CNC machining experience within manufacturing or engineering.
n
Experience programming CNC milling machines.
n
CAM programming experience (Mastercam, PowerMill or similar) highly regarded.
n
Experience operating 3 & 5 axis machining centres.
n
Experience with Heidenheim, Siemens and/or Fanuc controls.
n
Strong ability to read engineering drawings.
n
Exceptional attention to detail.
n
